Jaxine's Studio
"To be an artist is exciting and painful at the same time. Exploring the inner self and stretching as an artist can be painful. But when you 'get it together', and put it on paper, board, canvas, or whatever, and someone understands it and likes it; that’s excitement!"
"I love exploring life through the eyes of an artist. I am an eclectic artist. I use almost all of the media, and let my imagination run wild. I also like getting new artists excited enough to explore."
Jaxine hopes you enjoy the sample selections you see;
examples of her award-winning, contemporary, eclectic art.
Jaxine employs pastels, acrylics and mixed media. Check
her pages of example pieces with an African, Asian, Tropical,
and wildlife flavor. All of the works are originals; no prints. Please email her at jaxine@jaxine.com if you would like more information on any of the pieces, or if you would like to see more of her work.
Many of Jaxine’s works are exhibited at the “Critique Encounters XII” Galleries in Prescott, in the Fremont Plaza. She also exhibits at art shows presented by The Arizona Art Alliance,
and
Arizona Artists Guild. She has been an active Board member, Historian, and Show Chairman for the Pastel Artists’ Association, Past President of
Phoenix Artists Guild, a past member of National and Arizona Women’s Caucus for Art; is a juried member of the Arizona Art Alliance and Arizona Artists Guild, and is also a member of Scottsdale Artists League,
